Hey friends! You know I love a sale and I’m sure you do too! If you follow fashion bloggers your feed is going to be FLOODED with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The early access sale starts TODAY for cardholders. This is one of the biggest sale events of the summer and I’ve got a quick guide as to why you want to know about it, below!

I absolutely love Nordstrom, they have some of the best brands, customer service, and exchange/return policies I’ve seen that make it a place I love to shop. If you’re curious as to what all the hype is about the sale, I have some info below along with tips as to what you need to know going into the sale!

1. What is it?

The sale is the new fall line showcased with early access at a huge discount.

These can be new items, new collections or new pieces exclusive to Nordstrom.

Generally it’s a reason to stock-up on fall items that will be full price in stores once the sales are over (booo)! OR a good reason to pick up that Tory Burch pair of boots you’ve always wanted or another cool-weather item you want to splurge on to wear later in the season (or last minute summer stuff you’ve held out on).

Either way, it’s one sale where a retailer is discounting new exciting fall merchandise and it’s one of the most important sales of the year :)!

2. When is it?

The pre sale starts today for Nordstrom cardholders to shop the sale – early access 7/13-7/21.

If you’re a card holder GREAT, you’re IN! If not, you can still sign up here for Nordstrom Rewards which is a free loyalty card where you accumulate points when you shop.

The sale runs from 7/21-8/6.

3. Why should you care about this event?

  • Super sale prices
  • The latest trends
  • Beauty exclusives

4. What to do? Plan your approach: This is a GREAT sale to shop online (think Black Friday, the day I do NOT want to go into a store). Feel free to shop in person, of course, and know shopping online is an AMAZING option. There is a LOT of merchandise and a lot of times different stores carry different things so online works great to get broader options. Check the catalog for ahead of time, HERE.

Guys, these items sell out FAST, really fast. My suggestion is to buy what you like if you’re on the fence and return it later (they have the best return policy)!

5. Don’t give up if you love it! Keep checking everyday, and a few times a day for items. If something you want is out of stock/sold out/not in your size, they may have it re-stocked later in the day, keep checking!
