The other weekend I attended an amazing workshop on manifestation. It was put on by Nicole Moore from Love Works and I loved the reminder to focus on one thing we want and BELIEVE it is already on it’s way (among other things) to bring it into our lives. So how do we manifest? Follow these 3 simple steps to start manifesting what you want in your life.
If you’ve ever read The Secret, this won’t be new to you. I’m totally into this and try to work on it in my life. I also love Florence Scovel Shinn who similarly talks about bringing more of what you want into your life with your energy and being in flow with the forces of the universe.
Here are three steps to go ahead and try at home:
1. Ask for what you want!
Sometimes we get in our own way and we either just don’t ask or fear creeps in, what if I actually get it, what will I do when I have it? I’m not worthy, can be a few fears that we have around what we want. Set them aside if you have them and simply ASK the universe for exactly what you want. It’s like putting in an order at a restaurant, “I will have the mixed greens salad with ahi tuna and lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side.” And it’s ordered! Do the same thing with what you want to manifest.
2. Believe it’s already on it’s way!
Believe it’s already on it’s way!! When you put your order in at the restaurant, do you sit in fear and anxiety that it’s not actually going to come? NO! You know it’s on it’s way because you ordered it, now you can sit in peace while you wait. That’s what we need to do with our order to the universe.
3. Receive it!
Get ready to receive it, be ready to get what you’ve asked for! Make space for it mentally and physically. Clear the table, have space ready for the salad. Be grateful that you have it, thank the universe that it sent it to you! Keep positive and keep believing you have received it, be ready and willing to receive it so the universe can deliver it to you!
So this all sounds easy right? Well it’s that BELIEVING part that trips me up, I can ask and hope for it all day long but it’s the SITTING with the feeling that you ALREADY have it that gets me. And with that being said….
Here’s your Bicosatal Beauty Tip: To help BELIEVE it, step 2, write down the moment in time where you get/receive what you are manifesting. Write it in detail, the smell in the air, the music in the background, the taste of what you’re eating, the room you’re sitting in or wherever you are/whatever is happening and how it feels when you get it (excited, happy, explosive energy, whatever it is), write it down in detail. Then, read it aloud and then set your timer for 5-10 minutes and meditate on all of these feelings, like you’ve JUST received what you want. Do this for a week and let me know what comes!!
